Living with the T-Smart
The T-Smart learning hot water thermostat automatically learns your homes relationship with hot water consumption. Use the T-Smart for two weeks and it will programme itself providing hot water when its needed based on historical use.
Waking Up
Once you have showered each morning during the learning period, the T-Smart now knows that you like to shower at 7am at 41°C so will warm the water in advance of when you need it.
Leave for work
As you leave for work the intelligent learning system knows to no longer heat water, saving the homeowner from unnecessary energy consumption.
Work from home
You are going to work from home this afternoon, not a problem you can adjust the hot water temperature via the app so the water will be just at the right temperature as you return home.
Bath time
Bath time for kids before bed, the T-Smart has been learning your routine and heats enough hot water to enable a nice warm bubbly bath time.
Winding Down
As you are winding down for the evening so will the T-Smart completing its learning pattern and automated hot water schedule.
Modes
Manual
Set the desired tank temperature as required between 45°C and 70°C, then you can simply turn your T-Smart on and off as you wish leaving you in full control of your hot water.
Smart
Smart mode has an integrated 7 day learning function, it will track water usage for the first 7 days and predict a pattern for your hot water usage over the coming 7 days. Smart mode will regulate the tank temperature to ensure you always have enough hot water available at the time of need however when usage is low or zero it will conserve energy and store at a lower temperature.
Travel
Travel mode will set your hot water cylinder to 10°C and conserve energy whilst you travel, the temperature is still monitored and regulated to ensure the contents cannot freeze causing further issues.
Timer
With a built in 7 day programmer you no longer need an additional wall clock or timer. In Timer mode you can programme a fully independent 7 day schedule allowing individual schedules for each day, the app also has modes to copy previous days or set up as a 5/2 programmer.
Eco
Eco mode has a set temperature of 55°C to ensure compliance with building regulations for stored water. At this temperature you will conserve energy and ensure water is stored at the optimum temperature ready for use.
In the background T-Smart has two functions which run at all times, the Anti-legionella function to protect from harmful bacteria build up and the Freeze Protection function which protects the water heater from freezing should the external temperature drop.
Anti-Legionella
Within all modes T-Smart has an anti legionella function, if your tank has not completed a pasteurization of 60°C for one hour within a 14 day period T-Smart will automatically complete this for you. This function complies to UK building regulations for anti legionella control and is an automatic feature on the T-Smart.
Frost Protection
The frost protection function will ensure your hot water tank is protected and prevents the stored water from falling below 10ºC
